Meeting Change Notice
The Sandy Township Board of Trustees will move the regular meeting scheduled for Monday September 2, 2024 in observance of Labor Day. The meeting will be rescheduled to Tuesday, September 3, 2024 @ 7:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the Sandy Township Office Building located at 8170 Waynesburg Drive SE Waynesburg.
Mosquito Spraying to begin in Sandy Township
Sandy Township will be conducting Mosquito Spraying Saturday, July 6th and Friday July 12th beginning at 8:00 PM
If there is inclement weather the Mosquito Spraying will be rescheduled.
SPECIAL MEETING
The Sandy Township Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting to close out the books for 2023. The Meeting will be held on Friday, December 29 @ 4:00PM at the Sandy Township Office and Garage Building located at 8170 Waynesburg Drive, Waynesburg.
MEETING CHANGE
The Sandy Township Board of Trustees will move the regular scheduled Township Meeting from Monday,January 1st, 2024 to Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 in observance of New Years Day.
The meeting will be held at the Township Office and Garage building located at 8170 Waynesburg Drive, Waynesburg.
Honoring Cub Scout Noah Nesbitt
The trustees and fiscal officer of Sandy Township extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cub Scout Noah Nesbitt, a valued member of Pack 38, for graciously leading the Pledge of Allegiance before our meeting. We sincerely appreciate Noah’s contribution, and it is with genuine honor that we acknowledge his role. Our sincere thanks go out to him and his parents, Destry and Diana Nesbitt.
Landfill Tax Fee disposal slip
The Sandy Township Board of Trustees will move to a system where the form will be reviewed and renewed annually per the request of Waste Management. Please contact any Trustee for further information.
Trick or Treat for Sandy Township Residents
The Sandy Township Board of Trustees set Trick or Treat for Sunday, October 29th from 3:00-5:00 PM.

Fall Clean up for Sandy Township Residents
The Sandy Township Board of Trustees will hold a fall clean up for township residents on Thursday October 19 and Friday October 20 from 7:00 AM to 5:00PM No Tires and No TV’s will be accepted.
